MFT Camp Create first card

Hi all,

Yay, it's time for Camp Create again and the plan is to join all of the day's again. Let's see how far I come LOL. 

This card is eligible for the glitzy glitter, emboss resist and water color days of Camp Create.
So, three badges earned.

 

And here's my card:

I water colored the flowers with Peerless watercolors. The frames are from Gold glitter paper and the background is embossed and colored with distress inks. All and all quite a colorful card.

MFT sketch challenge 336

Hi all, 

I'm back again after a while of not posting. Simple because of not having the time. But now I'm back with entering this card for the MFT sketch challenge:

I made this card recently for upcoming Father's day. This was the sketch:

The card was part of a set, one also for mother's day. Here's a picture of the set and also the Mother's day card separately.

How cute is this stamp set!!!
A Volkswagen Bug is my absolute favorite vintage car, so I needed to have this one. While coloring I started singing 'Driving home for Christmas' from Chris Rhea. Slowly we're getting into the Christmas spirit...

This is how my card turned out.

MFT Superstar contest - card 3

Hi all,

This is my third and last card for the Superstar contest. 

For this card I wanted the sentiment to be the 'star' of the card. After inking the sentiment with black licorice ink, I also inked it with versafine and clear embossed it to give it a nice shine.

The card is stamped all in one layer (another Camp Create technique) with flowers of the Bold Blooms stamp set.

MFT Superstar contest - card 2

Hi all,

This is my second card for the Superstar contest. 

For this card I used one of the techniques from Camp Create, dry embossing.

First I die cut the border, then stamped the flower arrangement and dry embossed only the flowers and not the leaves.

Next step was to mask the flowers as well as the scalloped border so I could stamp the background with Versafine and gold emboss it. To give it a bit more contrast I also die cut the same blue border.

MFT Superstar contest - card 1

Hi all,

This is my first card for the Superstar contest. 

I wanted to create a card that look like those beautiful batik fabrics, so rich with gold threads in black fabric. I love that.
To achieve that all the little flowers and bugs were embossed in gold. For coloring I used pencils, it was not easy to find colors where you can color on black card stock. I let myself be inspired by one of the Camp Create challenges, where coloring was done on kraft paper.
Wings of the bees got some sparkle with a Wink of Stella glitter pen and finished it off with some gold pearls end crystals.

Stitched flowers Card Kit
